Wisdom - Are you doing the right things. Many network marketers make this common mistake of micro-managing the business and majoring on small things and making the uplines and downlines an issue. The best way to do the business is to be in charge of what you are doing, to be independent and mind your own business.
Especially in a binary plan, many downlines expect uplines to place people under them and if the uplines are not working, they make it a major issue! There are many factors involved and for some reasons your uplines may not be active but that shouldn't stop you from building your business. This is a people business, you must be careful of what you think, do and say, many times because of poor communication and people getting emotional, the business get disrupted!
Integrity - Yes integrity cannot be enforced, it can only be practiced. There are many leaders who have many business centres and it is a common thing for leaders to have many centres under proxy names, could be their father, mother, brother or sister. You got to ask yourself, and check your conscience, even if the company do not know about it, you know and God knows and is that a fair thing to do? Will people get hurt when you do certain things? That is why wisdom is so important, your intention and the causes and effects.
Always ask yourself, is that a fair thing to do and why are you doing it? That is why God has made it clear in the Bible, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." - Matthew 7:12.
If the world leaders were wise enough to follow God's words of wisdom, we would be enjoying world peace today.
Love - This business is about loving, caring, sharing and giving. The ugly side about this business is some choose the opposite, hating, not caring, not sharing and not giving, and that is why they fail in the business. Loving, caring, sharing and giving need not be in monetary terms, it could be a kind word, being there to support them when they need you. This business is about co-operation and not competition and desperation.
A common mistake is expectations of uplines and downlines. That is why training is critical, it is to teach the people what this business is all about and to have the right expectations. Everyone is known as an independent distributor, you can request your uplines to support your but not demand for it. And you must be crystal clear that you are doing it for yourself and not for your upline or anyone, and it is the brilliant, proven and tested system that rewards, not you. And it is fair because everyone enjoys exactly the same opportunity and the same compensation plan.
Learn - You must be willing to learn. You don't know what you don't know. And what you don't know can hurt you physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually. You must be willing to invest in seminars to learn. Of course, the company and leaders will provide free training but there are seminars that cost money, and usually you pay a nominal sum. A similar seminar will cost hundreds or thousands of dollars more!
Over the years I have invested over $100,000 on personal development and business seminars. The best investment is investing in yourself, how much are you willing to invest in yourself? "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." - Benjamin Franklin. Education is the highest form of leverage, you learn it once and you can apply it as many times as possible to your business and your life. Innovation - Network marketing has evolved, now it is more powerful than ever, with the integration of internet marketing, you have the best of both worlds, high touch and high tech! Network marketing is an innovative and very effective form of distribution using the most effective form of marketing which is word-of-mouth marketing!
Numbers - Network marketing is driven by leaders. You can count the number of seeds in an apple, but you cannot count the number of apples in the seeds! All you need is a few good leaders to help your organization to grow to tens of thousands of people!
Greatness - Great service to many people is the way to greatness. Network marketing gives you the opportunity to help millions of people worldwide to live a better and happy life by leveraging on a brilliant, proven and tested system!
Time - Yes time and tide wait for no man, and if you have neglected your health it may be later than you think. All of us have only 24 hours in a day and now you have the opportunity to work smart and leverage on thousands of people and thousands of hours in a day!
O - Represents the Law of Cause and Effect - what you sow you shall reap - what goes around comes around in your business and your life! You must always work with this universal law because this universal law is always working on you!
Leverage - Why work hard when you can work smart? Why depend on yourself and 24 hours in a day when you can leverage on a brilliant, proven and tested system to have more money and more time to live your dream? Why not do this wonderful business that is highly recommended by thousands of successful entrepreneurs, business consultants and marketing experts such as Robert Kiyosaki, Stephen Covey and Mark Victor Hansen!
Empower - Network marketing gives you the opportunity to empower people. When you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day but when you teach him how to fish, he feeds himself and his family a lifetime!
Action - Be proactive, lead by example and judge by results. Do not give excuses, blame your uplines or company. "If it is to be, it is up to me!" And always be grateful for this wonderful opportunity, you always get more of what you are grateful for, the best is yet to come!
Have a positive mental attitude and be positive in what you do and say. Stay away from work politics, negative remarks, and negative people. Always check your thoughts, words and actions, are they positive or negative, will they benefit others or hurt others? Always remember the Law of Cause and Effect is working all the time, what you sow you shall reap - what goes around comes around in your business and your life!
Results - If you are not happy with the results in your business and your life, check your thoughts, words and actions! For things to change, first you must changs. For the results to change, you must change the causes that are causing them, isn't it? To change the effects, you must change the causes!
Every morning when you wake up and and every night before you sleep, look into the mirror and ask this very important question, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the cause of it all?"
Next! - Nothing is permanent, everything is subject to changes. Some will, some won't and some are waiting for you to share this great global opportunity! Work with those who are ready to work, there is a popular saying, "When a student is ready, a teacher will appear." Stop throwing pearls at swines, and stop talking to a wall, and always qualify your prospects.
Network marketing is for everyone but not everyone is for network marketing. Different strokes for different folks, not everyone wants to be a doctor, banker, lawyer or dentist, isn't it? Respect people's wishes and give them what they want, the market is always right. Do not force your beliefs on others and agree to disagree, and if they do not accept your offers, thank them for taking the time to listen to you, always give people due respect.
