You can be an authority on the subject if you have 5 to 10 years of successful experience and it'll be great if you can publish a book. As you can see the word "authority" has the word "author" in it!
You can leverage on your book and be at thousands of places at one time! It is a great calling card, that is how I got my international speaking engagements, through my books!

Your books don't have to be a best-seller, once you are known as an author, people will give you the due respect because they know that it is not easy to write and publish a book, it takes knowledge, passion, commitment, money, time and effort!
For money to flow to you, you must let the world know what you do! Books are a great way to get yourself known to the world. Another great way, and it is much easier, is to have a blog and share your knowledge and experience. This is what I'm doing at my blog.
You must be wise enough to work with this universal law of giving and receiving. The more you give, the more you will receive - guaranteed! I'm 58 years young! This universal law has been working on me since I was born! I know it works all the time!
I love to use acronyms to get my message across and "GO TO GUY!" is a great acronym for God, O - Represents the Law of Cause and Effect, Think, Observe, Greatness, Understand, Yes, and ! - Represents the Irresistible Offer!

God - Who is God? Many fear to talk about God because they are told that it is a very sensitive and personal issue, which it is! Especially when you are an international speaker and you are on the stage.
There are three things speakers are told to avoid speaking, religion, politics and sex! Because they are sensitive and emotional issues and a speaker may turn off some people in the audience and they may just walk out from your talk!
When I talk about God, I do not promote any particular religion, I'm talking about things that people can agree upon such as God is Love and Love is God. I'm talking about universal laws such as giving and receiving, trusting and believing, loving, caring and sharing.
So when I talk about God on the stage, I make it very clear I respect people's beliefs and what I shared are universal laws which I believe are part of God and they are very positive and your life will improve greatly when you apply these universal laws of loving, caring, sharing and giving.
O - Represents the Law of Cause and Effect - what you sow you shall reap - what goes around comes around in your business and your life. Do the right things to get the right results.
Think - "You are what you think." - Buddha, the enlightened one. It is also stated clearly in the Bible, "As A Man Thinketh in his heart, so is he..." You cannot be what you are not, isn't it? And what you are is made up of the principles, values and beliefs you hold dear to your heart.
Observe - I learned this great lesson from my Tai Chi Sifu, Grandmaster Sia, he told me that one of the ways to learn Tai Chi is to observe how the masters do it. To be happy, rich and successful, observe what the happy, rich and successful people are doing, and follow them!
Greatness - Great service to many people is the way to greatness and great wealth. You'll have a global opportunity to empower people with a brilliant, proven and effective system to have more money, more time and better health!
