Many times you will hear people asking, "Where is God, why doesn't He show Himself?" All of us have different images of God depending on our parents, experience and the people we mix with.
People are very opinionated, they have different beliefs, views and aspects of life or God. It reminds me of the famous Buddhist story of the five blind men and the elephant. Each blind man was feeling different parts of the elephant.
The first blind man felt its big ears and concluded that the elephant is like a fan, the second felt its huge body and concluded that the elephant is like a wall, the third felt its trunk and concluded that the elephant looks like a snake, the fourth felt its leg and concluded that the elephant looks like a pillar and the fifth blind man felts its tail and concluded that the elephant looks like a rope!
God is in the miracles you are experiencing every day. The sun, moon, stars and the earth that is revolving every day and moving round the sun every year! You experience God with every breath you take and every beat of your heart.
You've heard it many times before that God is Love and Love is God, haven't you? God is Wisdom, God is Life too. Loving is living and living is giving and giving is receiving and receiving is giving. God is everywhere.
Isn't it wonderful that God reminds you of The Law of Giving and Receiving with every breath you take! When you breathe out you must breathe in, and when you breathe in you must breathe out, isn't it?
When we give we must receive, and when we receive we must give, this is working all the time, whether you like it or not or you're following it or not. Some people try to break this law by not giving when they are receiving, they will have to give in one way or another. That is why many people who are ignorant of this law are wondering why they have to lose so much of the wealth they have accumulated?
It's very fascinating when you study the universal laws at work such as The Law of Cause and Effect, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Giving and Receiving, The Law of Averages and The Law of Multiplication and many other universal laws.
We are experiencing The Law of Gravity every day, every minute and every second! There are gravitational forces at work that enables the earth to revolve round the sun!
How many days it take for the earth to move around the sun?
Here's the information I got from wikipedia:
"365.256 days - Earth's orbit is the path in which the Earth travels around the Sun. Earth lies at an average distance of 149.59787 million kilometers (93 million miles) from the Sun and a complete orbit occurs every 365.256 days (1 sidereal year), during which time Earth travels 940 million kilometers (584 million miles)."
Fascinating isn't it? And do you know that if the earth is tilted just a few degrees off and orbit closer to the sun, we will all end up like fried chickens!
Do you know how many cells you have in your body? I google it and got this information:
"How many cells make up your body? It’s actually not all that easy to answer that simple question. But recently, scientists have made a pretty good effort. And their final count is…37.2 trillion.
Calculating the number of cells in the human body is tricky. Part of the problem is that using different metrics gets you very different outcomes. Guessing based on volume gets you an estimate of 15 trillion cells; estimate by weight and you end up with 70 trillion." - source: smithsonian.com
And remember you were conceived because of two cells, the sperm from your father and the egg from your mother and they combined to form first stem cell, the zygote, and it multiplies to many different type of stem cells forming different parts of your body, it's truly a miracle!
A picture says a thousand words, a video says a million words!
How many breaths you take in a day?
I google it again and here's the information:
"On average, a person at rest takes about 16 breaths per minute. This means we breathe about 960 breaths an hour, 23,040 breaths a day, 8,409,600 a year. Unless we get a lot of exercise. The person who lives to 80 will take about 672,768,000 breaths in a lifetime. Jan 12, 2010" - source: heraldtribune.com
How much blood circulate around the body every day?
I guess you know where I search for the information:
"Your heart beats about 100,000 times in one day and about 35 million times in a year. During an average lifetime, the human heart will beat more than 2.5 billion times. Your body has about 5.6 liters (6 quarts) of blood circulating through the body three times every minute." source: arheart.com
There are many brilliant systems in your body that are keeping you alive today, your cardiovascular system, your respiratory system and your immune system, just to name a few.
I am inspired to write this blog post to give the answer to those people who are asking, "Where is God?". God is always speaking to you in many ways and many forms, if you take time to listen in quiet moments, you may think your subconscious mind is playing tricks on you when God communicates with you.
He may communicate with you through the Holy Spirit, Bible, books, an article, a friend or what you call a coincidence! You can always communicate with God with a prayer. Yes He listens and God answers prayers in many ways and many forms. Sometimes His answers may not be clear to you but you can be sure He has your best interest at heart because He loves you.
God bless you!
