Network marketing is derived from two words "Network" and "Marketing".
Network - It's about building a network of independent distributors who distribute the products directly to the consumers, and what better way to distribute the products than through tens of thousands of independent distributors who have benefited greatly from the products and consuming the products regularly themselves.
It is very cost-effective because the independent distributors will only be paid their sales commission when a product is sold. It removes a long chain of middlemen and it removes the high cost of advertising. It is direct distribution replacing the conventional costs of distribution.
Marketing - It's about exchange of value. People pay money for good products that will benefit them. Marketing will not happen if there is no exchange of value, isn't it?
People are not stupid, if the products are of no great value, they will not continue to consume them. Especially when you are selling health supplements and skincare products, they must be of great value or people will buy other brands from retail shops.
I am giving a ballpark figure based on my 26 years of experience, I will say that over 97% are part-timers or preferred customers. Part-timers are people who are happy to earn $300 to $1,000 or more a month and the preferred customers just want to enjoy the benefits of the products at wholesale prices. Less than 3% are business builders who want to earn $3,000 to $10,000 or more a month.
Of course, if you are talking about the top income earners who earn $100,000 or more a month, they could be less than 0.5%, that's the cold hard reality of network marketing.
For example, in an organization of 100,000, you are talking about less than 50 people who are earning $100,000 or more a month. That is definitely better than a conventional corporation with 100,000 or more people and there is only one Chief Executive Officer who earns millions of dollars a month!
Don't you think it is better to be in network marketing where you have the chance of being one of the 50 people who can earn $100,000 or more a month rather than be in a huge corporation where there is hardly any chance for you to be the Chief Executive Officer who earns over a million a month?
