This report is based on 22 years of network marketing knowledge and experience, and the reason I am writing it is to raised the standards in this industry which has a bad rap because of companies and leaders not doing the right things.
It is a wonderful business if you do the right things so let me get the ugly side out of the way, and you will know why people fail in this business and why this industry has a bad image.
There are rules in any game and in network marketing there are certain rules like the traffic lights on the road that must be followed or people are going to get hurt or killed.
Product dumping by rogue leaders have literally killed the business in many instances. How can you do a business when people are selling products at way below wholesale prices? This happens when company allow leaders to buy lots of products at one time to move up the ranks, it becomes a money game!
And these rogue leaders who are desperate to recover the money they used to buy lots of products to move up the ranks, will dump the products in the market at way below member's prices and this will destroy everyone's business!
Smart leaders will not join a company where products are allowed to be sold below wholesale prices, isn't it? How to do a business when people can get products at prices way below than what you are selling?
The others ugly side about this business is poaching and switching lines and rogue leaders will encourage and facilitate it because of lack of integrity, the greed factor, and for a selfish reason, they want to benefit from the switch.
Many of these rogue leaders have good marketing and presenting skills but they lack the integrity, the right values of placing people first before money. Integrity is the foundation of any business. "Integrity is the essence of everything." - Buckminster Fuller
It takes two to tango, and sometimes the company many not be at fault, they are trying their best to address the situation with their compliance department, but in the eyes of the market, perception is reality, they would think that the company is closing one eye to it and allowing that to happen!
For network marketing companies to do well in this business they must come on very strong on the culprits of product dumping, poaching and switching lines, and one of the effective ways to do this is termination of membership of those who are found guilty of destroying other people's business!
More importantly, companies must have a two-day intensive leadership seminar where leaders are taught the importance of having the right principles, values and beliefs. Good character, leadership and integrity is the foundation of the business.
Now we have gotten the ugly side of the business, of companies and leaders not doing the right things, out of the way, let's get to the wonderful side of the business.
Network marketing is a simple home-based business without the headaches, heartaches and high overheads of a conventional business. Anytime you feel frustrated or find it difficult to do network marketing, imagine yourself operating a conventional business and think of the challenges you will be facing.
The common challenges of a conventional businesses are high start-up capital of $100,000 or more instead of starting with $2,000 or less.
High monthly rentals of $5,000 to $10,000 or more especially if you want your shop to be at a good location instead of just buying a $100 worth of products a month to ensure you get to earn your passive income.
In a conventional businesses there are many factors that will give you more frustrations such as legal issues, the economy, government regulations, logistics, administration, accounts and advertising.
In a network marketing business, you just focus on marketing and you will be using the most effective form of marketing, word-of-mouth marketing. There are many ways to do the business, I will be sharing with you proven strategies that have worked for me which is home meetings and heart-to-heart talk over a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
I know there are many leaders using internet marketing strategies which is good if you do it the right way and if the members are able to learn the skill and do it the right way.
In internet marketing there is the black hat and white hat way of marketing. Black hat methods are deceptive methods, and that again can hurt the industry, and companies have to look into it when the leaders are using internet marketing, are they doing the right way or wrong way?
I love to use acronyms to get my message across, and "WHAT IT TAKES TO BE" is a great acronym for Wisdom, Heart, Action, Think, Integrity, Time, Aim, Knowledge, Empower, System, Teamwork, O - Represents the Law of Cause and Effect, Be, and Encouragement.
You cannot be what you are not, isn't it? And what you are is made up of the principles, values and beliefs you hold dear to your heart. By reading this acronym, you will get to know me better, the principles, values and beliefs I hold dear to my heart.
Because of time and space constraints, I will touch briefly on this acronym here and will share more at my training sessions. I plan to conduct training sessions in many cities to raise the standards in this industry.
Wisdom - When God asked King Solomon what he wanted most, he was wise enough to ask for wisdom, because with Love and Wisdom, you can get everything you want in life. You've heard it many times that God is Love and Love is God, haven't you? God is also wisdom and if you want to live a better and happy life, you must have love and wisdom!
What is wisdom? It is integrity, it is doing the right thing. It is placing people first before money. It is always having people's best interest at heart. It is understanding that there are universal laws at work such as gravity, they are working at you all the time!
Heart - What is your passion? What are you living for? Whatever you do and who you are, it will show in your face. "Sinew and blood is a think veil of lace, however you live, it will show in your face." Where the heart goes, the body will follow. You cannot do something that is against your core principles, values and beliefs.

Action - "Nothing happens until something moves." - Albert Einstein. "Don't sit in the meadow and expect the cow to back up and be milked - go after the cow!" - Elbert Hubbard. The slogan that helped create a billion-dollar brand, "Just do it!"
Always work with the Law of Averages, you must do enough to get the results you want. The cold hard truth about sales is that not everyone you approach will say "Yes" to your offer. You may have to approach 5 to 10 people to get someone to say "Yes" to your offer. A real estate agent may have to show the house 5 to 10 times or more before someone decides to buy that house!
Think - "You are what you think." - Buddha. Are you thinking like a winner or loser? Do you give up easily? Many successful people have to go through much difficulties and challenges before they achieve their success, but they think like a winner and never give up on their dreams.
If millions of people can live a better and happy life, you should be able to achieve it too, isn't it? It is only wise to study what are the common factors in these people that help them to achieve their success.

Integrity - God has made it very clear the importance of integrity in the Bible, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." - Matthew 7:12
If the world leaders have the integrity to follow God's words of wisdom, we would be enjoying world peace today. Similarly if network marketing companies and leaders have the integrity to prevent product dumping, poaching and switching lines, the network marketing business will have a better image in the eyes of the public.
Time - Yes time and tide wait for no man, and if you have neglected your health, it may be later than you think. That is why the wellness industry will be a trillion-dollar industry.
People are getting wiser and they know that if they take good care of their health, with the right lifestyle and right health supplements, they can extend their life span by 10 years or more!
Why work hard when you can work smart? Why depend on yourself and 24 hours in a day when you can leverage on thousands of people and thousands of hours in a day? Why not leverage on a brilliant, proven and effective system to have more money, more time and better health to live your dream?
Aim - You must be crystal clear on why you are doing the business? What are your objectives? You must have a plan of action. What do you plan to do daily, weekly and monthly. "Nobody plans to fail, they fail to plan."
Attend the training, seminars, webinars, special events and conventions where you have lots of opportunities to learn what to do to be successful in this business. It is not how to? It is always why do?? When your "why" is very strong, you will find out how to do the business the right way.
Knowledge - To know and not to do is not to know. You must apply your knowledge. Yes knowledge is very important, but more importantly is to apply that knowledge! "The only good is knowledge, the only evil is ignorance." - Socrates

Be - You cannot be what you are not. You must work on the principles, values and beliefs you have right now! Are they helping you to move forward or holding you back? Do you have empowering principles, values and beliefs?
You must focus on being first before doing. You must be the right kind of person before you can do the right things and achieve the things you want in life. Network marketing is about personal development and business education.
You must plug yourself and your team into the effective support system of training, seminars, webinars, special events and conventions. You must work on yourself, do you have a positive mental attitude, do you let excuses and justification get in your way? Do you give up easily?
Remember Winston Churchill's convocation speech to the university graduates, "Never, never, never, never, never give up!"
Encouragement - We all need encouragement, inspiration and motivation. That is why it is very important you read good books, watch inspiring youtube videos and mix with positive people. Birds of a feather like to flock together. To be positive, you must mix with positive people and you will find many positive people at the training, seminars, webinars, special events and conventions!
