I woke up at 2.00 am and I was inspired to write this article that will help people to live a better and happy life!
People tend to think and act as if they will live forever but the cold hard truth is our years, months and days are numbered, there will come a time when we have to leave this physical world and leave everything behind. That is why I wrote a song titled, "Only Love Will See You Thru" Yes I have posted it on youtube!
Many dreadful diseases, challenges and crisis in life are wake up calls to understand what life is all about, to be able to forgive and let go of things that are causing the sufferings you are going through right now. It is like iron going through the baptism of fire to become steel.
What would you do if you had only six months to live? Probably you would want to make peace with people you were not able to forgive and to ask for forgiveness from those you have knowingly or unwittingly hurt with your words or actions. You would want to do and say the things that you should have done or said long time ago, isn't it?
You may want to share the great lessons you have learned in business and life so that people can benefit from what you have learned. There are many things you would love to do but you have only six months, and that is why you would be praying hard for a miracle to extend your life a few more years to do the things you should have done long time ago!

I love to use acronyms and "SIX MONTHS TO LIVE" represents these words that will make a positive difference to your life and give you peace, hope, faith and love whether you have six months or more years to live. Sincerity, Integrity, X-factor, Miracles, Obstacles, Numbers, Think, Heart, Service, Time, Observe. Love, Inspiration, Vision and Education.
Sincerity - Have you been true to yourself and others. "Sincerity is the highest mark of a man." - Confucius. Say what you mean, and mean what you say, and always keep to your agreement and deliver what you promise. "This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man." - Shakespeare. Sincerity will give you peace of mind.
Integrity - Do the right things and you will get the right results. God has made it very clear in the Bible, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." If the world leaders follow these words of wisdom, we would be enjoying world peace today.
X-factor - What is the X-factor that has caused so much suffering in people's lives? It is the unwillingness to forgive and forget. It is only when you forgive that you will forget, if you are not able to forget it is because you have not forgiven the person who has caused harm or suffering to you. That is why there is this wonderful saying, "To err is human, to forgive, divine!" Let go of negative things in your life or thoughts that cause you suffering, yes let go and let God into your life!
Miracles - Yes many people were given only six months more to live by doctors but because they believe that everything is possible with God and they prayed with 100% belief and they were able to forgive, and wise enough to change their diet and give the body what it needs to heal itself, miracles happen! When you have a great intention to serve God and humanity, you do get an extension of life out of the power of grace, compassion and the Law of Cause and Effect.
Obstacles - There will always be obstacles in life to challenge you and make you stronger and wiser. You can turn these obstacles into stepping stones towards a better and happy life! Your enemies can be your friends and everything happens for a good reason, in every adversity there is an equivalent seed of benefit, understand the Law of Compensation and learn from the mistakes you've made and learn to forgive others and forgive yourself.
Numbers - You have only 24 hours in a day and there are meaning in numbers, they are there to help you live a better and happy life. You must work with the Law of Averages and do enough to get what you want in life. Ideally the first 20 years is for you to learn, the next 20 years is for you to work smart and earn as much as you want, from 40 to 60, it is for you to move from success to significance. Yes there is more to life than making money and living the good life, it is helping others to live a better and happy life.
From 60 to 80, it is for you to realize your greatest potential and to walk the spiritual path and get closer to God and understand what life is all about! Any year after 80 is a bonus for you! If you have great intentions to help people to live a better and happy life and you have been taking good care of yourself, probably you can live to 100 or more!
Think - "You are what you think." - Buddha. You are where you are today it is because of your thoughts, words and actions. If you want to live a better life, you must think better, speak better and do better, isn't it? What are you thinking right now? Positive thinking will lead to positive results and negative thinking will lead to negative results. Always think positive and have people's best interest at heart.
Heart - Have you neglected your heart? Your heart is working every second, every minute, every hour and every day, what have you done to support it and ensure it is working well? Health is your greatest wealth and if you have neglected your health, it may be later than you think. Heart diseases such as strokes and heart attacks can be prevented with proper diet and regular exercise. Prevent the preventable and delay the inevitable! Sleep well, Eat well, Exercise well, Drink well (drink purified water) and Supplement well.
Service - Great service to many people is the way to greatness. Study all the great people from the past and those living today, they all want to help all people to live a better and happy life. They are willing to serve and be the greatest servant to all people. When you help people you are helping yourself. If you want to be rich, happy, healthy and live a meaningful life, serve as many people as possible and help them to live a better and happy life!
Time - Yes time and tide wait for no man. Time is ticking away, you cannot buy back time with silver and gold. Treasure the precious time you have with your loved ones and friends, you can never get back the time you have lost. If there is any good you can do or any kind word you can say, do it now. Every day try a little kindness. It is not how long you live, it is how well you live and the positive difference you have made to people's lives that matters most.
Observe - I learned this great lesson from my Tai Chi Sifu, Grandmaster Sia, he said that one of the ways to learn Tai Chi is to observe how the masters do it. Why work hard when you can work smart? Why depend on yourself and 24 hours in a day when you can leverage on thousands of people and thousands of hours in a day? Observe how the rich and successful people are doing, they do not work for money, they have people and money working for them!

Love - Yes love is the greatest power on earth, are you embracing it and living it? You have heard it many times that God is Love and Love is God, haven't you? Everything is energy and love is the greatest power and it has the most powerful energy and it is what makes life meaningful and you can see it in many forms. God is always speaking to you and if God is Love then Love is always speaking to you, but are you listening? God speaks to you in many ways and forms and similarly Love comes to you in many ways and forms.
Inspiration - Are you an inspiration to others. God is inspiring you every day and you must share the inspiration that you experience. Yes share it forward and help people to live a better and happy life. We all need to be inspired and that is why God inspires you every day in many ways and forms. It can be from reading a book, from a smile and kind word of a friend, from a gentle touch to a loving hug. Be inspired and be an inspiration to others. God has given you many talents to do that!
Vision - Whatever you believe wholeheartedly, see it clearly in your mind happening right before you! You must see it to achieve it. All masters practise the art of visualization to create the reality they want to experience in their lives. Have a vision board at a place in your house where you will see it every day and see it in the morning when you wake up and again before you sleep, see it with feelings and when you see it clearly in your mind, feel it happening for you! You have to connect your mind to your heart, that is when miracles happen!
Education - You don't know what you don't know. What you don't know can hurt you physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually. "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." - Benjamin Franklin. "The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance." - Socrates.
Yes education is the highest form of leverage, you learn it once and you can apply it as many times as possible to your business and your life.
